MAC 414 - Concentrated Release & Anti-tack

MAC-414 is a concentrated, water-based release coating for molded rubber and an anti-tack coating for uncured rubber. MAC-414 will not foam during use in uncured rubber processing. Eliminates safety and housekeeping problems associated with mica, talc, and waxes.

Technical Data:

  • Color and Appearance - Milk-white emulsion
  • Consistency - Water thin
  • Suitable dilutant - Water
  • Emulsion type - Nonionic
  • Weight per gallon (lbs.) - 8.3

Application Method:

MAC-414 should be diluted with water prior to use; the diluted product can be sprayed or wiped onto a mold surface. For uncured rubber, the diluted product can be sprayed, applied as a flow coating, or dipped. A ratio of 1-part MAC-414 to 4-parts water is suggested.

Safety and Handling:

Review the Safety Data Sheet before using MAC-414. Do not allow the product to freeze. MAC-414 has a very low order of toxicity. If the product contacts the eyes, minor irritation may result, but flushing with water will minimize any discomfort. Prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided.
