McLube 76C - Aggregate Mold Release Agent


McLube 76C is a water emulsion that dries to a clear coating with excellent release and antistick characteristics. It is intended for use as a release coating on all types of concrete forms. It has superior wetting properties on metal forms and plastic liners used for the molding of concrete parts.

Application Method:

    McLube 76C can be sprayed, wiped or brushed onto the intended surface. It should be applied as received for the first two or three cycles to help condition the form surface. On steel forms, diluting with water may also be possible; start with a 1:1 dilution with water. If a 1:1 dilution is successful, then further dilution may be possible (up to a 1:6). On plastic or polyurethane liners, a 1:4-parts water dilution is recommended after the initial two to three coats of the pure concentration.

Safety and Handling:

    The Material Safety Data Sheet, which accompanies each shipment, should be reviewed before using McLube 76C. None of the ingredients in McLube 76C are considered hazardous; good industrial practice suggests the use of safety glasses and gloves. Product should be protected from freezing. Container should be kept covered to prevent evaporation and contamination.
