Technical Data:

  • Color and appearance................Thick, white fluid dispersion
  • Dispersing medium.....................Water
  • Specific gravity............................1.02
  • Weight per gallon (lbs.)..............8.4

Application Method:

MAC-422 is intended to be used as received but can be diluted with water if application dictates a lower concentration. Since the product settles on standing, agitation is required to maintain a uniform dispersion. Product should be applied to a clean, dry surface. McLube Mold Cleaner may be used. Apply by spraying, wiping, dipping or brushing. External heat can be used to speed up drying time.

Safety and Handling:

The Material Safety Data Sheet for MAC-422 should be reviewed prior to using the product. The active ingredients in MAC-422 are essentially nontoxic, but heating above 550°F may result in formation of potentially harmful substances. Smoking should not be permitted while using MAC-422 and contamination of tobacco products should be avoided. Safety glasses and gloves are recommended when using this product. Freezing of the product should be avoided, but if freezing occurs, it is possible to restore product uniformity with mechanical agitation.
