Application Method:

Flexible mandrels should be cleaned using a suitable solvent and free of any anti-tack or processing agents. McLube Mold Cleaner may be used. McLube 1775 is intended for use as supplied. Since the product is a dispersion of solid particles, agitation is required prior to use and periodically during use. Any conventional application method may be used for the product - spraying, dipping, wiping, or brushing. The Material Safety Data Sheet for McLube 1775 should be reviewed prior to using the product. The precautions to be observed are those related to those required for handling the toluene/MEK solvent mixture. Since the solvent mixture is flammable, the product should be kept away from heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources. Use only with adequate ventilation, especially in enclosed areas. The active ingredients are essentially nontoxic but heating above 550°F may cause formation of potentially harmful substances.
