MAC 444NPB - Non-flammable Mold Release & Dry Lubricant


MAC-444NPB is a non-flammable, solvent-based dispersion with a low coefficient of friction and excellent anti-stick properties. The product furnishes a release coating effective with all types of rubber and plastic compounds and works well on metallic and nonmetallic molds up to 550°F.

Application Method:

    Apply to a clean, dry surface free of old coatings, dirt and grim. We recommend you clean your mold with McLube mold cleaner. MAC-444NPB is not intended for dilution. Mix the product before use and periodically during application. Apply a thin, even coat to the surface of the mold, allow to dry, and apply a second coat if the mold has not been conditioned. You will likely get multiple releases out of a single application after conditioning - apply a single coat as needed.

Safety and Handling:

    Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use; use only with adequate ventilation in enclosed areas. The active ingredient is essentially nontoxic, but if heated over 550°F, it may form harmful substances. Smoking should not be permitted while using MAC-444NPB, and contamination of tobacco products should be avoided. See the SDS for recommended protective equipment.
