MAC 716 Semi-Permanent Release Agent for Cast Urethane Parts

Description:

MAC-716 is a production proven, semi-permanent release agent for molded polyurethane parts. It provides fast, easy part removal with no transfer and multiple release cycles per application. The product is suitable for use with cast urethane, foams, integral skin, as well as polyester and epoxy materials.

Application Method:

    MAC-716 should be applied to a clean, dry surface. All previously used release coatings should be removed by an appropriate method. McLube Mold Cleaner may be used. Spray a thin, even film of MAC-716 over the entire surface to be coated and allow to dry. Reapply as required. No baking is necessary.

Safety and Handling:

  • The Safety Data Sheet for MAC-716 should be reviewed prior to using the product.
  • MAC-716, being water based, has a low order of toxicity.
  • Care should be taken that good industrial handling practices are used. Safety glasses and gloves are recommended when using this product.
  • Freezing of the product should be avoided.
