MAC 863 Colorless Anti-Stick Coating

Description:

MAC-863 is water based mixture of a polymeric resin supplied as a concentrate, which has proven to be an extremely effective anti-stick coating for uncured rubber stock. It furnishes a thin, colorless coating that can be used with black and colored stock and will not contaminate the rubber stock. It contains no heavy metals or powders.

Application Method:

    MAC-863 is supplied as a concentrate and should be diluted prior to application. Initial recommended dilution is five parts water to one part McLube by volume. Further dilution rates should be evaluated until optimum performance benefits are realized. Dilution rates of 20:1 to 50:1 are common. Diluted product can be applied by dipping, flow coating or spraying.

Safety and Handling:

    The Material Safety Data Sheet for MAC-863 should be reviewed before using the product. MAC 863 has a low order of toxicity. Care should be taken that good industrial handling practices are used. Safety glasses and gloves are recommended when using this product. Freezing of the product should be avoided.
