The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a new antistick product for uncured rubber compounds and parts. MAC-863 is a water based mixture of polymeric material. It is supplied as a concentrate to assure economy of usage. The product has proven to be an extremely effective antistick coating for all types of rubber stock. It will provide a thin, colorless film coating that can be used on both black and colored stock. The product will not contaminate the rubber stock allowing for superior part appearance. MAC-863 is suitable for use in Barwell type operations, pellets, slugs and extrusions. The product is environmentally friendly containing no heavy metals, powders, silicone oils and is VOC free. Samples coupled with plant testing are available.

The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a new water based semi-permanent release coating based on PTFE nanoparticles. MAC-968 is a water based colloidal dispersion that has proven to provide superior release performance and durability. The product allows for improved flow properties, superior part appearance, excellent thermal stability and lubricity. It is supplied in a ready to use formulation to assure economy of usage. The product has proven to be an extremely effective release coating for all types of rubber stock such as EPDM, FKM. Neoprene, natural rubber, ECO and acrylic rubber compounds. It will provide a thin, colorless bonded film coating that will adhere tenaciously to the mold surface allowing for a maximum of parts to be molded per application. The product will not contaminate the rubber stock allowing for superior part appearance. The product is environmentally friendly containing no heavy metals, powders, silicone oils and is VOC free. Samples coupled with plant testing are available.

The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a new water based lubricant for rubber, plastic, leather and metal parts. Numerous applications for the automobile and transportation industry such as 0-rings, seals, gaskets, and weather-stripping also being used as an insertion and assembly lubricant. Product eliminates a variety of noises such as squeaks, rattles, squeals and whines. Product provides a clear colorless film coating that will bond to the applied surface. Current applications have proven the product to have a low coefficient of friction with excellent durability and lubricity. Benefits of using the new lubricant include cost effectiveness, thermal and chemical stability, and excellent compatibility due to the inert nature of the product. Product is environmental and user friendly containing no hazardous ingredients or VOC’s.

McLube has developed a new water based semi-permanent mold release for organic rubber compounds and parts called MAC-973. The product will reduce mold release usage by allowing for the maximum number of parts to be released per application of the mold release. Thus, molders will improve their molding efficiency resulting in a lower operating cost. Proven benefits include reduced mold fouling and build-up, no transfer of the mold release to the molded part, increased mold flow while eliminating non-fills, superior release performance and reduced part rejection rate. MAC-973 is environmental and operator friendly contain no hazardous material. Product has shown to perform well with rubber to metal bonded parts, medical parts, seals, boots and bellows. Samples and supervised plant trials are available.

Water based McLube mandrel lubricants for flexible, rigid and bent/formed mandrel built hose, antistick coatings for pan cured hose products, and coatings for cure tape are available for in-house testing or customer sampling. Products are operator and environmentally friendly. Suitable for use in automotive, hydraulic, industrial, chemical and food hose applications. They are designed to provide superior mandrel ejection and removal of finished cured hose. Benefits include ease of mandrel ejection, low blow- off pressure, no pin holing, elimination of i.d. contamination, and improved coupling retention. Products are designed for maximum releases per application with no transfer or mold build-up. Molds will stay cleaner longer providing increased productivity. McLube semi-permanent water based mold release coatings are designed for the injection, transfer and compression molding of rubber parts. They have proven to be extremely effective with peroxide cured compounds, high filler content, and other difficult to mold compounds. Can be used with FKM, HNBR, polyacrylates, CPE, butyl, polybutadene, natural, neoprene, ECO, as well as silicone rubber. Products are operator and environmentally friendly containing no hazardous material. Product attributes include maximum durability, improved flow properties, elimination of knit lines and voids, increased productivity, reduced scrap rate, ease of release, elimination of mold build- up and economy of use. Products are stable solutions that will not settle, do not require mixing, have a long shelf life, and are chemically and thermally stable.
