Specialty Coatings for Anti-Squeak, Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH)
Sources of NVH and rattles include rubber-metal, rubber-polymer, and rubber-upholstery interactions in vehicles and machinery. Noise and vibration occur when two materials rub and slide against each other. In certain circumstances, friction can also lead to part damage over time. Stick-slip properties can be reduced or prevented with the proper lubricating coating. The accessibility of parts for application/ reapplication often determines the type of NVH solution required.
McLube® has provided advanced lubricating solutions for over 60 years. Contact us for assistance with selecting, testing, and optimizing an NVH coating for your process. If one of our existing solutions does not meet your needs, we also offer custom formulations to ensure all of your process goals are met.
