Details & Benefits

Technology

Temporary Lubricants vs. Enhanced-Slip Options

While lubricants aid assembly of parts, lubricity post-production can cause rolling, disconnects, part deformation, and even injuries. McLube® temporary lubricants provide a low coefficient of friction for easy insertion/assembly but lose lubricity when dry to avoid unwanted slip post-production. These specialty lubricants will not cause gaskets, O-rings or other parts to bloom/swell and will not degrade rubber, plastic, or metal over time. McLube® enhanced slip assembly aids offer the maximum degree of lubricity for particularly difficult insertions or extractions and will maintain excellent lubricity for extended periods of time. These lubricants are ideal for coating parts that will be stored for a long period of time before assembly.  Contact McLube® for assistance with selecting the appropriate assembly lubricant for your line.

Visual Indicators

Upon request, we may add a red, blue, green, or ultraviolet indicator dye to any of our assembly aids for easy application confirmation.
