Swaging lubricants are applied to the collar and other high-friction areas to prevent galling and binding, aid part removal, and improve overall machine efficiency. McLube® offers water and solvent-based dry lubricants ideal for friction reduction in swaging operations. Our lubricants are currently used in swaging operations such as hydraulic hoses, commercial pots and pans, bullet cartridges, and more.
McLube® dry film lubricants form a non-oily film with an exceedingly low coefficient of friction and excellent durability. Oily coatings tend to attract dust, dirt, and grime to the application site, but our dry film lubricants will repel contaminants that lead to fouling and defects.
