We offer a variety of products for the polyurethane industry, including water and solvent-based release agents and specialty mold cleaners. We also offer custom formulated release agents for PU due to the industry’s limitless diversity of blends of polyols, isocyanates (“hard segments”), chain extenders, and other additives.

Automotive Applications
McLube® provides value-added solutions for polyurethane molders in the following automotive applications: energy-absorbing foams, interior door panels, carpet backing, filters, seat cushions, steering wheels, dashboards, mats, bumpers, spoilers, fenders, and more. We also offer anti-squeak, NVH coatings for PUR foam cushions.
Solid Rocket Propellant
Solid-propellant rockets use a pre-mixed combination of a fuel and an oxidizer in a solid or paste form that is molded into a casing. These propellants are known for their simplicity, high thrust, and long-term storability, making them ideal for defense systems and boosters for space launch vehicles. McLube® offers release agents compatible with solid state rocket propellants utilizing polyurethane/ polybutadiene and other binding resins.
Sporting Goods and Consumer Products
McLube® works with manufacturers creating a variety of sporting goods and consumer products with polyurethane components. Many sporting goods involve complex processes and exacting requirements. We often create custom formulations to help manufacturers in these industries achieve efficient and reliable processes for new products.
Shoe Soling
McLube® offers water and solvent-based release agents for polyester and polyether PU systems used to produce single-density and dual-density soles. The benefits of McLube® products for shoe sole manufacturing include reduced consumption, low in-mold buildup, and consistent release performance. Custom gloss levels and concentrations are available to suit individual process requirements.

Spray Foam Insulation
Release agents in convenient aerosol cans, such as our McLube® 715, help to prevent buildup in overspray areas and on equipment. Apply to spray polyurethane foam (SPF) applicators, hoses, safety equipment, and any other surface to prevent buildup over time and make cleaning easier at the end of the day. McLube also offers specialty cleaners for effortless removal of PU foams and resins.
