Industrial Lubricants
Specialty industrial lubricants since 1954
McLube® offers high-performance industrial lubricants for manufacturing, construction, automotive, aerospace, and defense applications where commodity and retail options are not sufficient.
Every product in our line of industrial lubricants was created to meet specific longevity, durability, friction reduction, cost, or corrosion inhibition requirements. We help customers reduce cost, prevent machine wear and fouling, and achieve process and sustainability goals. Contact us for assistance – we will help you select the ideal lubricating chemistry and characteristics for your application and provide assistance with testing and integration into your process. If one of our existing solutions does not meet your requirements, we also offer custom formulations for unique or extreme environment applications. Continue reading to learn more.
Industrial Lubricants By Type
Learn more about the different types and chemistries we offer, including dry-film lubricants, dry-film moly lubricants, greases, pastes, and oil dispersions as well as specialty lubricants for the marine industry.
Dry Film Lubricants
Durable, non-oily lubricants that repel dirt and contaminants and form a dry, low coefficient of friction film.
Water-based, solvent-based, and aerosol options available.
Dry Film Moly Lubricants
Dry-film Lubricants fortified with MoS2 for high temperature and pressure applications.
Molybdenum Disulfide Powder
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) powders with varying particle sizes used for compounding and tumble lubrication.
Molybdenum Disulfide Greases, Pastes, and Oil Dispersions
NLGI#2 Greases, Pastes, and oil dispersion fortified with molybdenum disulfide for high temperature and pressure applications.
Lubricants and Polishes for the Marine Industry

Case Study
The Challenge
A leading manufacturer of constant force springs contacted us with the goal of replacing a PFAS lubricant applied to their springs. The constant force springs were employed in an area where reapplication is impossible, thus longevity of the lubricating coating was crucial. The manufacturer also required the lubricant to be water-based and maintain the same lubricity as the current PFAS coating.
The Process
McLube® worked with the manufacturer’s engineers to understand the part and end-use requirements, then narrowed down PFAS-free chemistries that would maintain CoF without sacrificing longevity or cost. An initial prototype met all requirements and additional iterations were not needed.
The Outcome
McLube® delivered a PFAS-free, water-based industrial lubricant utilizing emerging ceramic technology. Coefficient of friction reduction and longevity were maintained at the customer’s price point, and the solution integrated seamlessly with existing automated application equipment.
